Mechanics of Materials, International AdaptationRoy R. Craig, Jr., is the John J. McKetta Energy Professor Emeritus in Engineering in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and his MS and PhD degrees in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. From 1961 until 2001 he was on the faculty of the University of Texas
