L-5C PickguardMade here at 1929 Pickguards, we have a replacement pickguard for the early Gibson L 5P and L 5C. These large guards were used on early cutaway Gibson archtops before they switched to the smaller guard shape used today (starting in the 60s with the Florentine [sharp] cutaway guitars). These guards are a dark tortoiseshell acrylic material with 5 ply White and Black binding. They are made from a direct tracing of a vintage factory Gibson pickguard. I
