A great local Red Mountain winemaker has created a Semillon based white wine that is sweet but not sugary with hints of banana and dried fruits like apricot. Its almost a bit port ish (yup I did it again) but not thick or overly heavy. It screams dessert or warm day patio sipper. It was made to pair with vanilla crme brulee or panna cotta, but also light enough to drink on its own.
