2018 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, TuscanyWe visited Altesino back in July of 2021. We stayed in a town called Greve in Chianti and rode a Vespa for 76 km to visit this estate. Can't say we recommend 152 km on a Vespa, but we can surely recommend this wine! Aged at least 36 months in 5,000+ L Slavonian oak barrels before bottle aging for another 6 months. Altesino is one of the greatest producers in Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. This wine received 92 points from Wine Spectator. Tasting Notes
