Endgrain Small BoardOur endgrain boards are made from laminated squares. There are a couple advantages to this construction. 1) Because the end of the wood makes up the surface of the board, knives go between fibers instead of across them. 2) Additionally, end grain surfaces are 10x harder than side grain surfaces. These two features make end grain boards hard wearing with less visible knife marks. Endgrain boards should be treated more frequently than side grain boards
