Diagram 956 specifically is used for routes where cyclists and pedestrians are unsegregated and both have equal right of way. Where the route is mixed use these signs should be used at the start and finish, along with repeater signs used at regular intervals as a reminder. If the cycle lane these are to be fitted on is segregated then signs 975A and B should be
