Milk lactone - ACS InternationalCommonly used in recreating a milk dairy note in flavours and fragrances. To me milk lactone smells like milk bottle sweets. We decided to add it to our range because of its unique and pleasant odour profile which helps the creation of milk cream gourmand notes. There aren't many real alternatives of which we're currently aware of; we think it has an important place in the perfumer's palette. It blends well with vanillin.
