It features the design known as "Walking Liberty" The image features Lady Liberty holding branches of laurel and oak, striding toward the sunrise of a new day. The Stars and Stripes fly in the breeze behind her and she holds her hand outstretched, perhaps bestowing the spirit of liberty. This is one of, if not my favorite, U. S. coin. I find this design
