Togan (Winter Melon) SyrupVisitors to our shop in Nanjo are very familiar with this syrup. It goes beautifully with yogurt. It's less sweet than honey and so doesn't mask the flavour. Slices of winter melon are stewed in local cane sugar to make a candied winter melon, and this syrup is what remains from this process.
