True flat top for a higher compression than most stock and aftermarket pistons. These pistons use a thinner ring set than stock and with that reduced friction, ring manufacturers claim about 10HP advantage over stock. We estimate a 15 30HP gain with these pistons over stock as a result of the reduced friction rings and added compression.
