Ambrofix (Ambroxan) - GivaudanAmbroxan is a classic and one of the most famous and most important molecules in perfumery. It's used in most commercial perfumes as both a fixative and an exalting agent. It's effective in small amounts and adds radiance and projection to perfumes. On it's own, it smells golden, marine and ambery to the nose of the perfumer here at The Fragrance Foundry. We're currently selling the Givaudan manufactured version of this molecule (trade name Ambrofix).
