P-51 Reno Racer "VooDoo" (Early version)North American P 51 Voodoo airplane model. Since 1989 this P 51 has been on the ramp at Reno at nearly every air racing event. She first raced as Pegasus by owner pilot Bill Spear until 1994. She was then purchased by Bob Button and "Hurricane" Bob Hannah became the race pilot. The new team first raced at the 1995 Phoenix 500 event and the racer was now purple &, white with a new name, Voodoo Chile (taken from the Jimmy Hendrix recording). She
