The AIM 7F M was a US Air Force operated homing missile, which was guided by semi active radar and has an operational range of 50 kilometers. It was also the only operational version remaining among all AIM 7 missiles and was launched from various platforms including the F 14 Tomcat, F 4 Phantom II, and F 15 Eagle.
