The history of Joseph Jennens & Co. can be traced back to the button and military ornament maker, Charles Jennens, who was noted as being in business at 316, Oxford Street, London in 1807. During the course of the ninteenth century they were styled in a variety of titles, but always featuring the name Jennens. The existence of Jennens & Co
